About Anne:

Anne believes everyone has the capacity and drive to thrive. Whether its a rejuvenating private yoga session, an inspiring workshop, or an invigorating personal training session, Anne infuses science, passion, and kindness in all that she does in order to help you reclaim your vitality.

Anne is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she studied Kinesiology (the study of the body and movement). She is an enthusiastic health educator and wellness professional with experience teaching group exercise classes, conducting multidisciplinary research, and developing heartfelt and inspiring wellness programs and trainings. Anne is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine, holds multiple fitness certifications, and has completed 380 hours of training in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Anne considers herself a teacher at heart and a lifelong learner; someone who is always excited to share knowledge, brighten people's days, and invoke self-discovery and positive change.

Her interest in teaching and working with individuals and groups on their wellness truly began in middle school, when she wrestled with perfectionism, body-image, confidence, and authenticity. She became fascinated with health psychology and spent much of her free time reading self-help books and learning more about personal development, fitness, and nutrition. Her own struggles through the years in finding balance and discovering “true” health and happiness have inspired Anne to share what she has learned with others who also seek change and growth. Anne is enthusiastic about helping people feel better and enhancing their wellness via movement practices, education & training, and/or guided self-reflective practices like meditation and journaling (or all of the above!)

Anne's purpose and life mission is the compass for her work: to thrive, not just survive, and to live each day with authenticity, humor, and presence so she can inspire others to live their lives to the fullest.
